LIFETRIKE HAS GONE FISHIN’

We are very excited about heading out tomorrow for the Paralyzed Veterans of America Bass Tour  being held at Rend Lake, Mount Vernon, IL.

It’s a long drive from Florida, over 1000 miles, but it will be worth it to see the men and women who will be there.  They are an incredible group of people.

These are men and women of our military who have encountered life changing circumstances.  Many of them will never walk again.  Yet they face each day looking forward to the challenge and how they can have a better day than yesterday.

I attended the Kissimmee, FL Citrus Slam portion of the tour.  I was deeply moved talking to the members.  Seeing the joy on their faces as they returned from fishing was beyond words.  Sitting with them at the banquets and listening to the stories made me feel honored to be a part of this great event.

To each and every member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America I wish to say Thank You for your Service.  This is a debt to you this country can never repay.  Your honor, integrity and your sacrifice both in the service and after your discharge speak so highly of the dedication you have for your country and your fellow man.

I salute you.
